Surgical experience
Dr Petais has an extensive surgical experience in all fields of heart surgery. His main interest is in micro-operations (minimal invasive and robotic techniques) in aortic and mitral valve and coronary one vessel disease as well as beating-heart operations by coronary artery disease.
He has performed several hundred of open heart operations especially in bypass surgery, aortic and mitral valve repair and replacement and also in ascending aorta aneurysm.

As a guest surgeon Dr.Petais operated in AHEPA Hospital and he showed minimal invasive techniques in aortic valve replacement.
