Surgical experience
Dr Martinovic has an extensive surgical experience in all fields of heart surgery. His main interest is in the coronary surgery of elderly patients (over the age of 70) as well as mitral valve surgery.
In the last several years he has focused his interest on heart failure and the possibilities of surgical treatment of this disease.
He has performed several thousands of open heart operations, as well as over 2000 implantations of different devices / pacemakers, ICD, CRT devices and mechanical support devices/ .
